Patricia Jean (Fowler) Sperati

Patricia Jean Sperati, 83,of Niles, formerly of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren. Patricia was born October 12, 1932 in Poland, Ohio, the daughter of Roy and Thelma Francis Fowler. Patricia had worked for Kings Department Store in Youngstown, Jewel Mart in the Liberty Plaza and Meiding's Drug Store in Girard. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Girard, Eagles Lodge, and formerly of the Professional Women's Organization. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Rocco (Leslie) Sperati of Girard , Michael Sperati of Youngstown and Gwen (Carl) Arthur of Warren, daughter-in-law, Jennifer Sperati of McDonald, sisters, Thelma Niec and Geraldine Najdusac, both of Hubbard, grandchildren; William Charles Sperati, Joe Sperati, Sara Slattery, Adam Arthur, Connor Sperati and Matthew Sperati, and great-grandchildren; Paige, Julian, Hannah, Lucas and Olivia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rocky B. Sperati, whom she married November 2, 1950 and died September 19, 2014, son William Sperati, sister Betty Finch and brother Danny Fowler. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 23rd, 6:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.
