Pauline J. Benson, 89, of Youngstown, passed away on Sunday June 8, 2014 at St.Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. Pauline was born September 5, 1924 in McDonald, the daughter of the late James and Anna Perry Gordon. She is survived by her sons; LeRoy Benson of Liberty Twp., and Richard Benson of Girard, brother; James Gordon of Niles, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Shafer, Betty Bable, Elda Goodheart, Dorothy Marshall and June Pizzilo and brothers Fred and Raymond Gordon. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 11th, 2:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home.The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday. Pauline will be laid to rest at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
