Phillip J. Bellanca Jr.

Phillip J. Bellanca Jr., 79, of Palm Springs, California, formerly of Lowellville,  passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020, in Palm Springs. Phillip was born January 12, 1940, in Lowellville, Ohio, the son of Phillip and Clara (Labrie) Bellanca Sr. Philiip was a 1958 graduate of Lowellville High School. He moved to California and worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Co. until retirement. Phillip then moved from Huntington Beach to Palm Springs, California. He enjoyed traveling in his younger years. He is survived by his nieces, Lorraine (Tom) Suttle, of Downey, CA, and Yvonne (Roy) Yamasaki, of Lake Forest, CA, and his nephew, Edward (Shelley Wishka) Rapcinko, of Austintown, and many cousins in this area. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Josephine Rapcinko, and Nina Eager. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 11:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Lowellville. Phillip will be laid to rest at Holy Rosary Cemetery with his parents.
