Regina R (Moliterno) Delisio

Regina R. Delisio, 94, of Girard, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Omni Manor Nursing Home.  Regina was born March 31, 1921 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Louis and Eleanor Bernard Moliterno. Regina retired in 1988 from St. Elizabeth Hospital as a payroll administrator. She was a member of St. Rose Church and the Girard Senior Citizens. Regina loved her family and sports, playing on her bowling leagues, bingo and playing cards. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Diane (Ron) Delisio Andrews of Hamilton, Ohio, Robert L. (BJ) Delisio of Girard, Thomas (Susan) Delisio of Cincinnati, Richard (Christine) Delisio of Boardman, Anthony (Sally) Delisio of Lancaster, Ohio and Daniel (Tracy) Delisio of Pittsburgh, Pa.,  and fourteen grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert V., whom she married August 31, 1949 and died July 14, 2006, her sisters; Mary Sproviero, Lucy Choppa and Tracy Moliterno, and her brothers; Nicholas,  Anthony, John, Louis and James Moliterno. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 18th, 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church. Family will gather at 10:30 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard for a private prayer service. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Regina will be laid to rest next to her husband at Resurrection Cemetery.
