Robert M. Freeman, 64, of Girard, passed away on Monday June 22, 2015 at Northside Hospital. He was born September 29, 1950, in Youngstown, the son of William and Anna Demetruk Freeman. Robert graduated from Girard High School in 1969. He retired from U.S. Steel McDonald Works. He is survived by his parents of Girard, sisters, Sandra and Barb Freeman, both of Girard, brothers, David (Phyllis) Freeman and William R. Freeman Jr., both of Girard, and nephews, John and William A. Freeman. Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home. Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM. Robert will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery. The family request that any material contributions be made to the Emmanuel Care Center 2 N. State Street Girard Ohio 44420.
