Robert Ross (q) Morris

Robert R. Morris Sr. 85, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at this home surrounded by his family. Robert was born September 10, 1930, in Clearville, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Robert and Nola (Morral) Morris. Robert served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Robert had worked for Republic Steel, was a fireman for Liberty Fire Dept., had owned and operated Liberty Lawn and Garden and also Morris Lawn Services. He was a member of Vienna Fish and Game. He also enjoyed hunting and farming. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters; Aleda (Lucky) Florek of Hubbard, Darlene Dutton of Brookfield; son, Robert R. Morris Jr., of Liberty; sister, Betty Barkman of Clearville, Pennsylvania, grandchildren; Deaun Florek, Bryan (Danielle) Dutton, Brad (Jessica) Dutton, Brandon (Nicole) Dutton, Aaron Florek, Andrew Morris and Hannah Morris,and eight great-grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Pearl (Goff) Morris, whom he married November 20, 1954 and died August 29, 2004, a son David R. Morris, sister Katherine Clark, brothers Bruce and Ivan Morris, and son-in-law Mickey Dutton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 24th, 1:30 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
