Robert A. Prodnick

Robert A. Prodnick, 66, of Girard, Ohio passed away peacefully in Hospice care on February 16, 2022 as his loving wife, Lorraine, held his hand. Bob was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 11, 1955, a son of George and Dolores (Rolland) Prodnick.

Bob worked as a steelworker for 35 years and later was employed as part of the street department and city building staff for the City of Girard. He was a member of the Girard Fraternal Order of the Eagles - Aerie 2172.  Bob was of the Christian faith and he loved music, shooting pool, making his homemade wine, and most of all - his family.

Bob and Lorraine were married for 43 years and were inseparable from the moment they met at 12 and 14 years old.

Bob leaves behind his wife, Lorraine (Mozzillo) and his three children - daughter Marilyn Prodnick and her fiance Rob Daniels of Rhode Island, son Bobby Prodnick Jr. and his fiance Lauren Hunkus of Austintown, son Todd Prodnick of Girard, and his two grandsons - Jake and Greyson.

No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Hospice House of Boardman in Bob’s name.
