Rocco W. Rice, 55, of Girard, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday April 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born August 7, 1959 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Edward & Mary Gelsomino Rice. He graduated from Girard High School in 1977. Rocco worked at K-Mart Distribution Center for 24 years as a warehouse operator. Rocco was a wonderful man that blessed his family with love, strength and security. Besides his parents of Girard, he leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former, Laura Georgalas, whom he married February 14, 1987, daughter, Adriane Singer of Girard, son, Nicholas Rice (Nomiki Psarras) of Girard, sister, Lisa (Rick) Kovacs of Florida, brother, Ed Rice of Girard, and his grandchildren, Raquel & Jules Singer and Rocco E.
