Ronald Eugene Rhodes

Ronald E. Rhodes, 72, of Youngstown passed away on November 5, 2023 at his residence. Ronald was born on May 30, 1951 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of William and Barbara (Abbott-Hall) Rhodes. He was a 1970 graduate of McDonald High School.  Ron served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Marine Corp. He had worked for the U.S. Steel for 15 years and American Insulated Glass Company for 14 years. He will be remembered and missed by his wife Joan (Leonard) Rhodes whom he married February 5, 2004; his son, Billy (Danielle) Rhodes, grandson Bryson, granddaughter Addison, step daughter Nicole (Josiah) Wheeler and step grandson Josiah Jr., of Poland, Ohio; his sister, Barbara (Donald) Flipin; brother, George (Peggy) Hall of Niles, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother,Donald Rhodes, brothers, Alvin Hall and Harold Abbott; and sister, Debbie Huston. The family will receive family and friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on November 10th at Blackstone Funeral Home Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 1:00 PM with military honors to follow. Ronald will be laid to rest at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
