Rose Marie Deak, 82, of Vienna, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Rose was born January 19, 1935 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of William and Roxie Ann (Smith) Durkin. She retired from US Steel Co. and had worked in their accounts payable department. After retiring, Rose was a babysitter for many children. She is survived by her stepson; Gregory J. Deak of McDonald, her grandchildren; Jessica, Brittany, Patricia, Michaella and Justin and her great-grandchildren; Samantha, Anneliese and Bailey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Deak, whom she married October 19, 1973 and died July 15, 2004, her stepdaughters Marilyn Wanat and Julie Deak and her brother William Durkin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 27th, 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle in Vienna. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of mass at the church. Rose Marie will be laid to rest at Brunstetter Cemetery in Austintown, Ohio.
