Rose Marie (Mikulich) Pozega

Rose Marie Pozega, 87,formerly of Girard, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015, at Omni Manor Nursing Care Center. Rose Marie was born November 2, 1927 in Wampum, Pa., the daughter of the late Mijo "Mike" and Jenny DeLost Mikulich. Rose Marie retired from Packard electric after 25 years as a press operator. She was a member of St. Rose Church. Rose Marie is survived by her husband, Michael Pozega, whom she married April 21, 1948, children; Barbara Malutic of Girard, and Elaine (Frank) Sabatino of Liberty Twp., sister, Dolores Rorison of Liberty, brothers; Michael Mikulich of Girard and Donald Mikulich of Liberty Twp., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Foty and sisters; Alice Jean Fetty and Geraldine Gatta. A prayer service will be held on Monday, March 9th, 7:00 pm, at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 5-7pm. Rose Marie will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
