Rosemary F Christopher

Rosemary F. Christopher, 92, of Girard, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 21, 2015. She was born July 23, 1922 in Girard, Ohio the daughter of the late Jerry and Helen Christopher Carson. Rosemary was a member of St. Rose Church, the Girard Women's Democrat Club and was an avid fan of college football and basketball. She is survived by her children; Diane Alejars, Judy (Richard) Bakos and Joseph F. (Cindy) Christopher Jr., all living in Girard, grandchildren; Julie (Brian) Mlinarsik, Richie Bakos, Jody Bakos, Aaron (Stacey) Alejars, Ashley (Jody) Alejars, Tricia (John)  Alberini and Justine Christopher and Eight Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph F. Christopher Sr. whom she married September 29, 1942 and passed away March 20, 2007 and brothers, Lawrence and Steven Carson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 10:00 am at St. Rose Church, preceded by a 9:30 am prayer service  at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 4-8pm at the funeral home.  Rosemary will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery next to her husband.
