Ruth (Anderson) Edwards

Ruth Edwards, 74, of Liberty Twp., died Sunday August 28, 2011 at Hospice House in Poland.  She was born August 23, 1937 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert H. & Emilie Griffith Anderson.  Ruth worked in the insurance industry and had last worked for The Griffith Agency, Inc., in Girard.  She was a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church in Liberty Twp., and Graduated from Girard High School in 1955.  She is survived by her husband William R. Edwards whom she married June 1, 1957, sons, William D. (Janet) Edwards of Girard, and Craig A. (Deby) Edwards of Hollywood, Florida, brother, Rev. Robert T. (Gail) Anderson of Murrysville, PA., and granddaughter, Bethany Edwards of College State, Texas.  A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday September 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home.  Family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 AM till time of service.
