Sara A. Claflin, 83, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Thursday May 15, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Sara was born April 19, 1931 in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of the late Anthony and Barbara Vaccaro Mollica. Sara was a school bus driver and retired from Liberty School Systems. She attended St. Rose Church in Girard, was a member of SCOPE in Niles and Hubbard Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to Mountaineer. She is survived by her children, Harold C. (Terri) Claflin Jr. of Howland and Kimberly (Truman) Boylen of Austintown, grandchildren Melanie, Abbey, Samantha and Renee, great-granddaughter Lily and her companion Vincent Forte. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Claflin Sr. whom she married May 27, 1950 and passed away August 18, 2008, daughter Patricia Claflin and brothers Anthony Mollica and Joseph Mollica.
