Sharon Jamison

Sharon Jamison, 73, of Warren, passed away on Thursday April 13, 2023 at Shepherd of the Valley in Warren, Ohio following a courageous battle with cancer.

Sharon was born December 13, 1949 in Vallejo, California, the daughter of Duane Welling and Lucille (Stoddard) Zachary. Sharon grew up in California and worked for the State  for many years. There she met her husband John A. Jamison  and married on June 29, 1973. They lived happily until his passing on November 1, 2017. Once they moved to Ohio in 1974 she worked for Delphi. Sharon had a passion for rescuing dogs and gave many dogs a happy home. She also enjoyed reading and her favorite pass time was traveling to multiple countries with John.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Lucille Zachary of California, brother Marshall Welling also of California, sister- in-laws, Barb (Rick) Jamison, of Girard, Suzanne (Wayne) Elliot of Columbiana,and Karen(Steve) Kish of Georgia.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father Duane Welling, sister, Shirley Knight, and brother Michael  Welling. Sharon will be laid to rest next to her husband at Girard City Cemetery.

The family ask that donations be made to Trumbull County Animal Welfare League in Sharon's memory.
