Shirley D. (Clifton) Smith

Shirley D. Smith, 55, of Girard, passed away April 23, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Shirley was born March 3, 1965, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Richard and Darlene (Keyser) Clifton. Shirley loved gardening, reading, praying, and was a member of Hope Baptist Church. In recent years Shirley was a Bus Driver for Youngstown, Girard, and Brookfield Schools, where she showed great love and compassion for the children. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Marlena Kimple, Tatiana Smith,  and Tameka (Daniel) Watkins, all of Girard, and her son Landon (Jamie) Smith of Pittsburgh, and four grandchildren. She also leaves a brother Brian Williams of Las Vegas, NV. Shirley is proceeded in death by her parents, and brother Raymond Pontius. Shirley will be laid to rest at Girard Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
