Steven J Fackelman Sr.

Steven Joseph Fackelman Sr., 52, of Girard, died Saturday March 30, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  He was born July 16, 1960 the son of Joseph & Shirley Kerswill Fackelman.  He was vice- president for Luxaire Cushion Company in Newton Falls for 21 years.  He was a 1978 graduate of Valley Forge High School in Parma, Ohio, and Bucknell University in 1982.  Steven was a member of the Girard City Survivors  Relay Team and was a Boy Scout leader for several years.  He enjoyed camping and gambling trips with his wife and woodworking.  He is survived by his parents of Cleveland Ohio, his wife, the former, Carol Ann Daugherty, whom he married June 4, 2007, sons, Steven J. Fackelman Jr., Michael R. Fackelman and Brian J. Fackelman, all of Stow, Ohio, step-sons, Michael (Ashley) Yankey and Joseph (Michelle) Yankey both of Girard, sister, Ann Fackelman of Toledo, Ohio, brothers, Don Fackelman of North Royalton, Ohio and Kenneth Fackelman of Cleveland, Ohio, and  granddaughter Kendall Yankey.
