Susan Norling

Susan N. Norling, 90, formerly of Hubbard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House in Poland. Susan was born March 21, 1931 in Youngstown, Ohio, a twin daughter to Frank and Nancy (Austrino) Gregorace. She retired after 30 years of service at Northside Hospital on her 65th birthday in 1996. Susan read her bible daily and enjoyed reading books by Stephen King and Danielle Steele among others. In her later years she enjoyed puzzles and word finds. She had a great love of dogs and we are sure that she was greeted at the Rainbow Bridge by her loyal black lab, Pepper, and many other precious pets that preceded her. Most of all Susan loved spending time with her three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, whom she adored.

Susan leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Mary Jane (Gordie) Britton of Youngstown; her twin sister, Pauline Arment of Moberly, Missouri; grandchildren, Jessica (Matthew) Banks, Allison Britton, and Matthew Britton; her great-grandchildren, Bohden and Adalynn; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Joe Kelly Gregorace.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 7th, 5:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 PM until the time of service. The family is suggesting that face masks be worn for both the visitation and funeral service. Susan will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank Countryside at Elmwood Assisted Living facility for the loving care provided to Susan during the four and a half years she resided there.
