Susanne (Carosella) DeRose

Susanne DeRose, 87, of Girard, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Continuing Health Care Solutions at the Ridge. Susanne was born October 1, 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Vivo) Carosella. Susanne retired from Nickles Bakery, as a clerk. She was a member of St. Rose Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Carla A. (Thomas) Orlando, of Girard, and son, John M. DeRose Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fl., her grandson, Tyler DeRose of West Palm Beach, Fl., her sister, Mary Carmel Parker, of Youngstown, Sister-in-Laws, Geri Carosella and Margaret Carosella, both of Youngstown and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John M. DeRose Sr., whom she married August 7, 1954 and died June 5, 2010, and two brothers, Michael Carosella and Vincent Carosella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 27th, 10:30 AM at St. Rose Church, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
