Terri L. Kish, of McDonald, Ohio, answered her last alarm at 10:21 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018, while a patient in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, following a brief illness. She was 52. Terri was born on July 4, 1965 in Rochester, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Ronald W. and Filippa J. (Scichilone) Prentice.
A 1983 graduate of Beaver Falls High School, she furthered her education at Point Park College, Pittsburgh, and Youngstown State University. She worked as an EMT for the McDonald Fire Department before retiring. In addition, she was an EMS Instructor for the Howland Training Center, and Trumbull Career Technical Center. Her memberships include: Our Lady of Perpetual Help, McDonald, and formerly Rebekah Lodge, Warren, Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, painting, saving rescue dogs, and spending time outdoors.
She is survived by: her husband, Chief Nick G. Kish, retired McDonald FD, whom she married on July 3, 2004; father, Ronald of Warren; sister, Tracy A. Prentice (John Guido), Beaver, Pennsylvania; nephews, Michael, Luca, & Roman Guido; half-brother, John Bechak, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; and step-sisters, Chelsea Tsuris, Nicole Coe, Jenna Normand, and Maria Tsuris. Her mother preceeds her in death.
Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Blackstone Funeral Home, Girard, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to the Mahoning County Dog Pound, 1230 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, Ohio 44509.
