Theodore J. Myers, 84, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Northside Hospital in Youngstown.  Ted was born October 21, 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Fred and Katherine Hoffman Myers. Ted retired as an electrician from US Steel in McDonald after working over 40 years, and also had worked part-time at Sohio gas station in Warren.  He was an Army veteran serving his country during the Korean Conflict. Ted was a member of Girard First United Methodist Church and Girard Multi-Generational Center.  Ted loved his sports and was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.  Ted mostly loved spending time with his family and adored his dog Pixie. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, the former, Evelyn Wright, whom he married October 23, 1953, his children; Kristy (Leonard) Fill of Canfield, Jay (Joetta) Myers of Ocoee, Florida, Cindy (Steve) McCraith of Poolesville, Maryland and Doug (Stephanie) Myers of North Beach, Maryland, grandchildren; Heather (Justin) Bise, Ryan and Adam Fill, Nick (Didra) Myers, Brianne (Jonathan) Moret, Lucas and Trevor Myers, Jason (Paty) Smith, Kyle (Kimberly) Smith, Natalie Smith, Casey (Marty) Linderberger, Brittany and Sean Myers; great-grandchildren; Mackenna Bise and Mason Smith, sisters; Ethel Coles, Peg Altaffer and Kathy Myers, all of McDonald, twin brother Fred Myers and brother Tim Myers, both of McDonald.  He is preceded in death by his sister June Stevens. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 4:00 PM at the Girard First United Methodist Church.
