Theresa (Bevilacqua-Tomlin (Lucilio) Dalesandro

Theresa (Bevilacqua-Tomlin) Dalesandro, 78, of Akron, formerly of Girard, died Saturday October 13, 2012 at her residence.  Theresa was born June 12, 1934 in Girard, Ohio, the daughter of the late Philomena and Joseph Lucilio.  She was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard.  Theresa had worked for Benada (Easco Alumium) and later as a private duty nurse for forty years. She loved gardening and landscaping, cooking all her excellent Italian meals ,and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She is survived by her son John (Carlene) Bevilacqua of Girard, daughters  Christina Gavin of Arkon, Phyllis (Jim) Moore of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Tami (Elliott) Moadus of Charlotte, NC., brother Nick Lucilio of North Canton, Ohio , nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Preceded her in death was her husbands, Nicholas J. Bevilacqua and Elmer Tomlin.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday October 18, 2012,at 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church, preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 AM at the Blackstone Funeral Home.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.  The family requests any material contributions to be made to help defray funeral expenses.  To view this obituary and to send condolences to the  family, visit www.blackstonefuneralhome.com.
