Thomas S. Weaver, 70, of Medina, formerly of Girard, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic. Thomas was born April 18, 1946 in Girard, the son of George W. and Margaret W. (Candler) Weaver. Thomas had worked 26 years at Key Bank in the Stock Transfer Department. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Thomas had a genuine compassion and love for dogs. He is survived by his daughter Sherice, son William and grandson Jeremiah. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 11th, 10:00 AM at Girard City Cemetery, where Thomas will be buried next to his parents. Thomas's wishes were that any memorial contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League of choice, in his memory.
