Virginia L. O'Hara, 94, of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Lordstown, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019, at her residence. Virginia was born October 23, 1924, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of William and Lillian (Merten) McMamara. She retired from the Lordstown School System after over thirty years as a teacher. She was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church, in Olathe, Kansas. Virginia had a passion for collecting Barbie dolls and old postcards. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, David (Charlene) Yuengert, of Olathe, Kansas, five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, George O'Hara and sister Evelyn McMamara. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 31st, 11:00 AM, at St. Rose Church,in Girard, preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Virginia will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
