William "Bill" F Williams

William "Bill" F. Williams, 69, of Niles, he was received by his heavenly father on Thursday September 3, 2015. He was born January 26, 1946 in Youngstown, the son of the late Paul and Eileen O'Malley Williams. He was an 1964 graduate of Girard High School and saw the world serving 4 years in the US Navy aboard the USS Essex. Upon his honorable discharge, he worked at General Motors until retiring in 2001. He enjoyed sitting on his porch swing,listening to music and taking care of his flowers. He was also an avid sports fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers and not to mention he never missed an Army-Navy game. Yet, his great enjoyment in life came from his children and grandchildren and always reminding us to make sure we enjoyed every moment life had to offer. He is survived by his children, Shannon (Ian) Clement of Niles, Scott (Kerrianne) Williams of Niles and Tanisha Williams of Girard, sisters, Marilyn Stephens and Eileen Ferko, brothers, Tom (Julia) Williams, Roger (Bernadette) Williams and Edward Williams, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter,  Tiffaney E. (Kearns) Williams, sister,  Paula Williams and brothers, Richard and Jack Williams. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11th, 11:00 AM, at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
