William "Jonas" T Joynes

William "Jonas" Joynes, 63, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at his home. Jonas was born April 7, 1956, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of William H. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Watts) Joynes. He had previously worked for Copperweld Steel for many years. Jonas was a member of the IFH in Girard, and loved going to Geneva-on-the-Lake. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jaimie (John) Williams of Macedonia, Jason Joynes of Lakewood, Josh Joynes of Girard, and Kyle Joynes of McDonald, his sister, Margaret "Peggy" (Michael) Stevenson of McDonald, his grandchildren, Luke and Ava Williams, and his nephews, Jim Maxim of McDonald, Matt Stevenson of McDonald, and Mark Stevenson of Rootstown. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 4:00 PM, at Blackstone Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 until the time of service.
