Wilma F. Woodford, 97, of Girard, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28th, 2019 at her daughter's home in Girard. Wilma was born November 1, 1921, in Bridgewater, PA, the daughter of Raymond W. and Fanchon A. (Hill) Dickey. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Girard. Wilma had owned and operated the Card and Candle Shop in Girard from 1973 - 1992. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sue Anne (Russell) Greenslade, of Girard, stepdaughters; Judy (Don) Ruggerio, of Put-In-Bay, Linda (Bill) McKernan of McDonald, Deborah Radek of Burr Ridge, IL, and Lori (Jeff) Cramer of Girard, grandchildren; Katie (Jon) Merrill, Cara Greenslade and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob and Lucy Merrill. Wilma was also blessed with step-grandchildren Christian (Jen) McKernan and Jeff (Roni) McKernan, Josh Zeitler, Jon Zeitler, Jared (Sarah) Cramer, Emily Cramer, and 6 step great-grandchildren. Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Woodford, who died in 1990, her infant son, Jeffrey Warden, sister, Ruth Johnston and brothers, Robert and William Dickey. Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 15th, 6:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 5-6 PM.
